Maintenance Emergencies
The maintenance personnel and property manager will handle after-hours emergency requests. It is necessary to obtain the residents name, phone number, apartment number and details of the emergency. This will help ensure that the appropriate equipment and supplies are available and brought to the maintenance emergency call.
If the maintenance team is unable to respond to the emergency, a member of management must personally check out the emergency before an outside contractor is contacted. If an outside vendor is contracted, try and determine an estimate of charges for repairs.
